The group members are from biology, biochemistry, chemistry, bioinformatics, informatics, mathematics and physics. They are post-docs or accomplish their PhD or master thesis. PhD students are generally paid by PhD positions (BATIIA/2) or scholarships. Master students may receive financial aid by a tutorial job or by special arrangements.
